A tiny minority of people don't, as is the case with flu (I am aware that this is worse than your normal flu). Why do we not shut everything down to prevent people from dying from that. Winter of 2015 50,000 people died from flu/viral pneumonia where I am. I caught it and it was the illest I have ever been in my life, although coronavirus lasted a lot longer for me. My 63 year old dad was hopsitalised with pneumonia from it. The country wasn't shut down then, so why is it now? Why have we decided coronavirus patients, the average age of someone who dies from it in my country being over 80, are more important than cancer patients, people in need of hip replacements etc? It doesn't make sense to me
