I think the fact that the average resident can run 25 miles a day at altitude is going to be cancelled out early on by the fact they only eat rare expensive trucked in vegetables. Some balance regained because the average person there is also professionally skilled and outfitted to make safe booze from tree bark and any three of them could build a weaponized glider with secret laser capacity or a nuclear greek fire catapult from junk left behind when target gets looted .
