I'll try to explain it from my perspective.

Unless you're told otherwise, from friends and family. You're likely average in so many regards. There's nothing distinctive about you. That's okay, there's nothing wrong with average, most people are average.

But people don't really care that much about ordinary things, because they're like everything else and it's easy to get ordinary things. Your propensity to check yourself from doing things that are extreme, extreme personality, extreme dress code.

Reminder, this isn't me telling you to do extreme things. It's much easier to be divisive and mess up than to be divisive and successful, but you do need to stand out in some particular way for a girl to like you.

So chase after her like nobody else has, have a unique charismatic personality that she rarely encounters, be special and mysterous. That being said, don't be creepy.
