Bed Bugs On Philadelphia SEPTA Bus Seat

You don't need to explain obvious things to me. I know morality isn't objective. I can only talk about what i see as good or bad. To me, causing unnecessary suffering to other living beings is always wrong. He does a lot of that. Enough so that i would consider him a bad person.

What if i told you there is no evidence of free will, so we can't really assume any difference in agency between people. We can only judge the actions they commit.

Say we have 3 people that all committed murder in exactly the same way. One of them was suffering from psychosis, one was forced into it by blackmail, and one was raised from birth to kill. Assuming everything about the murders they committed was exactly the same, they all caused the same amount of suffering and all of them ended a life. The reasons for why they did it are different, but that doesn't change what happened. Therefore i would conclude that all of them did an equally bad thing.

Now, that doesn't mean the reasons don't matter at all. We can look at them to find ways to rehabilitate the offenders. We may be able to treat the psychosis with one method, but we can't use the same approach for the other two.
