I have went to police before over death threats, actually from people I knew and met in real life before but the threat was over the PC. They're response is that they are legally powerless to do anything about it because they can't prove 100% who the guy on the other side is. That's why most people don't run to the police over death threats, because they have no power over it at all.

Also, not ONCE have I defended the actions of telling someone you are going to kill them. I don't condone that or insulting people (which you seem to think is totally fine). Where would you have even gotten that idea?

Yep. I 100% condone insulting people who consistently barge in with posts that do ultimately nothing but excuse people making death threats because they don't think they're enough of an action.

Oh nowhere except maybe that any time one of these posts come up, you're here in all your might and glory talking about how these threats aren't a big deal because "lol internet" as if people don't have livelihoods, jobs and similar that exist almost exclusively on the internet. Your post is doing nothing but saying people are wrong for caring about youtube death threats. As for that old trotted out bullshit about how if taking YT Death Threats seriously will make other death threats be taken less seriously? Yeah, no, anybody who holds onto that idea is a fucking prick who wouldn't take any level of death threat seriously until it is too late (or they are an even bigger piece of shit who say it in order to make more Death Threats unabated).
