I suspected as much and have read something similar; it is the main reason why I am hesitant so thank you for the information. I would be paying MSRP, sans a $1700 rebate, as well as likely a tax break next year. We got more incentives on my wife's 330e land a lcleanp air rebate last year, the tax break on hers was about 6k.

However, I'd probably kick myself if I didn't wait, with double the range and efficiency (even if it is a rumor). That's unless i get them down below the MSRP today to the point where its much more lucrative.

I should note that I don't cummute more than 5 minutes to work, so range would be fine for what I do. I am also not sure the all electric range would be all that beneficial on the highway and road trips we use the SUV with either.
