Been pretty depressed for the past couple of years. What’s everyone doing to keep their spirits up?

I’ve started painting again, and I allow it to take me months to complete a piece if it feels right. No more churning out “content”, reclaiming art for myself makes me feel like a kid again. I even got my painting into a local exhibition which feels nicer than 50 half arsed likes on Instagram or whatever. I guess patience is what I’m learning. Also gratitude is really hard when your life is messed up but that’s absolutely when it becomes the most valuable. I like to journal about gratitude every few days. Think back to your childhood and try reclaiming something sincere from back then that is just for you and not about value or pressure. Take care
