Have been seeing a ton of Passed Checkride post lately and I just wanna say...

Well if you had the time and experience you could bypass regionals and go to a major. If not, regionals for a few years and then a major. But I’d never describe my job as “completely boring city pairs, shitty crew vans, and a crappy different person each week”. The job is what you make it, but it’s absolutely incredible. Most of the people I work with are awesome. We fly the absolute most high performance aircrafts in the world (excluding fighter jets of course) and actually DO get to fly the plane if we want. I think it’s funny that most people that never took an airline career and went corporate or something try and make it sound as if it’s just some monotonous job, like you’re that fish off spongebob that is seen with the same deadlook, frown in every scene. I circumnavigate the North American continent and fly about 10-14k miles a week. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
