hi, i just started a web design course and my teacher is out of state for the holiday weekend. we have an assignment due sunday and professor is unreachable and i'm freaking out. basically all they want us to do is establish an FTP connection using filezilla and i have no idea what i'm doing at all, i'm able to establish a connection to our school server but they say we need to "establish a username" and "perform file transfer to a web server." there's no instruction on how to do this from our professor.

i feel really dumb for not being able to do this but i sincerely have no idea what i'm doing, this is the 2nd day of class and we don't have any type of lecture. it's just assignments handed to us and ted talks. i've never done anything web design related outside of using squarespace and weebly.
