Beginner shooter in southern California

let’s face it. If you’re in 20’s, it’s hard to justify or afford multiple $120 class. First go study this. It won’t cost you a dime. Firearm Safety Certificate test. http://californiafsc.safetyquizz.com/

Then go take a test in a local gun shop and get your certificate. That will cost you $25.

Then watch some YouTube videos on how to handle a firearm safely. Then take a good reliable friend then go to a local shooting range and rent a handgun or rifle and shoot. It will cost you $70 ish depend on how much you shoot. It will give you an idea which caliber and gun you like. There will be range safety officers there to help you shoot safely. Then go buy a gun. Preferably 9mm or .223 something cheap to shoot. Then go practice shooting.
