Holy fuck. I see why nothing ever gets fucking done in this town. Nobody gives a shit about the accountability rigamorale, they care about hiring a fucking capable infrastructure project manager. This guy certainly doesn't sound like it. The part about hiring him because he knows how to navigate the intricacies of Austin government misses the point so goddamned hard.

This is why these busy bodies can't make a ham sandwich without 4 meetings and 2 votes, before deciding a ham sandwich isn't inclusive enough and we should think about a meat free alternative, then they hold two more meetings to decide that they're going to scrap the project and start again, this time with more citizen input on bread types.
