Being called antisemitic for boycotting Israel is stupid

Well the question to me is why you're only willing to look at the wrongdoings of Israel. When Palestine and many of the other Arab neighbors have vowed to destroy Israel, calling for jihad, declaring war after war on Israel since the beginning of the state, and even firing rockets regularly into their cities, killing dozens of people... Maybe Israel has done some bad things, but that doesn't mean they're the ultimate perpetrators in this conflict. They want peace, whereas those around them are continuing the conflicts.

Like at the end of the day, I have to sit here and ask myself, would I rather Israel remain as is, being an extremely diverse and multicultural country, with the rights of women, LGBT people, and practically holding all the same societal values as any western country? Or would I rather the area just become yet another shitshow of a majority muslim, middle eastern country, where homosexuality is punished with the death penalty, women standing up to their husbands are stoned to death, and other religions are no longer tolerated? Would I like to see yet another major refugee crisis, where Jews, LGBT people and Israelis in general have to flee the area to avoid genocide?

The fact of the matter is that a lot of the hate for the existence of Israel stems from antisemitism. Israelis made the country into what it is today, and turned desert into fertile lands.
