Being charged for No Installation?

Because when you agree to accept service from said vendor, you enter into a verbal contract with that vendor. This is called the "Terms of Service", it is available to read on the vendors website, or they can mail you a copy. Either way both parties are bound by this agreement. There is probably a stipulation in the terms of service agreement that states a $50 installation fee will be applied to each account at the start of service. Some companies waive this charge as a courtesy, but more often than not they just want their money as stated by these terms. These installation charges are put in place to keep people from starting and stopping service. This handcuffs people mentally even though these companies don't have anymore contracts with time limits. It is an inconvenience fee per say. My advice don't try to fight it because you are probably stuck with arbitration with said contractor. Good Luck. JC.
