Being conservative...

I do not have any indications in my application of my political leanings... that having been said I don't think it would hurt in most instances, and may even help if you are an outlier. I think law schools try harder than most other departments to admit students with diverse backgrounds, and this includes political leanings... if you look at many prominent conservative voices, they attended some of the most prestigious law programs in the country (Ben Shapiro, Ted Cruz, Larry Elder, Ann Koulter etc.) I think I would actually prefer to attend a law school where my worldview would be challenged as opposed to attending a school where the student body and faculty were all in agreement.
