Being evicted from my flat share

Don't know if you know this stuff, but as an Aussie. Firstly the land lord needs to give you a notice in writing that is signed and dated, with the violation that is resulting in your lease termination and state you will leave at the 14 days of notice delivery.

Next up if he starts to act up say you will start the tennant tribubal process (NCAT, VCAT etc), especially if he didn't give you notice in writing and refuses to state what violation you did with your lease.

Thirdly since you didn't mention the state if you're in victoria he can't kick you out because the restrictions easements are being rolled back.

If he still insists advise via the tribunal what the dept of health advises. If the tennant freeze is still active or was resigned by the premier the land lord will be in a world of hurt as the vic state made it clear they don't want people in the streets during a pandemic. Again depends where you are right now and what the state has active with its emergency laws.

If your area doesn't have the tenant freeze going you will need to get another area to live from the notice. Of course the tribunal process should prevent notice from completing since you're disputing it. This can give you much needed breathing room to find another place.
