Being gay is a matter of taste, and as such, people have a right to think it’s gross.

Why do you feel the NEED to continuously go on at your friend at how disgusting you find her preferences. Think its gross, fine...mention it a couple times, whatever. But to "go on" is to harp AT someone about how disgusting you find their behaviour. Trust, you may not accept this and she might not ever tell you...but when you do that she feels shame and feels like you find HER disgusting. Thats a guarantee.

She may never say a word for many reasons. Becaus she doesn't want to cause issues, hurt YOUR feelings, draw attention to herself, mess up group dynamic, etc etc.

Quipping "ew thats nasty" occassionally and laughing with each other is one thing. But to "go on" about something has a very specific tonation. It means you won't let up, and will continue to push and push and push the point.
