I think being more specific helps you to get closer to what you want. I used LOA a few years ago to manifest a job at a company I really wanted to work at.

I wrote down the company name and did affirmations daily. I did got a job at that company a few weeks later, however it was a short temporary job. I was not specific in saying that I wanted it to be a permanent job or a long term job.

However I think in some cases being less specific helps, like with a partner. I think writing down too many details like eye colour can be a little too much. Saying you want a man who is kind, similar in age to yourself, a certain race (if that is important), a man who works, is fit & healthy and has own dreams etc....is good. I think adding things like a family man is important.

I just think some people might miss out on meeting someone great they focus so much on a specific man they want.

A career or business can be moulded to fit your desires.
