Is being a woman a feeling or an identity?

The problem is that literal definition of "bad faith" is that you are doing none of that.

Listen, if you're actually trying to understand us, that's great, but you need to realize that we get a lot of people asking questions ezaxtly like this in bad faith to try to get us to defend our right to exist. (If you really want to understand, start there. Imagine having someone ask you to prove that who you are is a real thing, and that they might just be asking so they can tear down whatever justification you offer for the lulz.) Just a day ago you posted a comment dictating to someone that we incorrectly believe that there are male and female brains, so you haven't been trying very hard to understand so far. (There is no such thing as a brain that is morphologically male or female, but brains can develop expecting a different hormonal balance than the one their body naturally produces, and correcting that balance with gender-affirming hormone therapy can and does cause a definite cognitive improvement in some trans people. I'm one of them, the feeling is similar to putting the last piece into a puzzle and seeing the picture whole and undamaged for the first time.)

If you really want to learn more about us, look up the Gender Dysphoria Bible, it's a good resource and it will help put you in a place where you can ask good faith questions that actually look like good faith questions.
