All the countries which are wrecking themselves by taking in masses of muslim and african immigrants are now bitching because others (UK, US) are doing what it takes to avoid wrecking themselves in like (though the UK waiting a bit too long to get it started, IMO)?

And no, I am tired of paying for people in other countries, when we don't even have decent public transportation in most places within our own country. Fix our problems first, make ourselves better. Then, we can help them.

Look at the cost of education here. Maybe if people could get educated without taking out a mortgage, we shouldn't need to "import" these people.

Because that's basically what's happening. Importation of labour at the low end (to save money) and at the high end (often to save money, as well).

Americans are being outcompeted in those areas by imported labor, and the middle class is being destroyed as people with college degrees are finding themselves having to work at Starbucks and GameStop just to attempt to get by.
