It’s a calculated risk I’m willing to take. I am willing to acknowledge an injury caused by my own stupidity to take a risk keeping myself safe. I drive a car and still acknowledge the risk; something you said yourself is far more dangerous than owning a gun. I won’t give up on either.

I don’t own a baseball bat - I don’t play baseball and wouldn’t have plausible deniability for having one in the house if I attempted to use it as a weapon against someone. You clearly didn’t read my comment, because I mentioned that he both blocked the entrance/exit AND the kitchen. Entrance/exit had pepper spray by it, which I couldn’t reach. The kitchen has knives, which I couldn’t reach.

There’s no news article because I live in a major metro with hundreds of cases of far more violent crimes on a daily basis. It’s not newsworthy when no one dies, now is it? However, if you want to look up the court eviction by his apartment landlord, that exists and I can provide you that info, although the records are sealed.
