Belief in a specific religion is cult-like

Though I can understand why you'd think that most religions are the same, mine is different. It's based on the faith that a flawless good exists and then after that is all logic and reasoning since if a flawless good does exist then other things must also be true. Not only that, but this religion is developed through trial and error, if the logic and reasoning are proven flawed, then they are corrected, not illogically defended. In my religion there are currently two roles, a believer and an author. An author is someone who uses logic and reasoning to correct errors/add explanations to how the flawless good exists/make things easier to understand/etc. Anyone who believes in my religion can become an author, meaning believers have the freedom to reject what an author says by becoming an author temporarily. There is no hell(s) in my religion, or judgment, it's believed that believer or not, everyone goes to an afterlife devoid of suffering after they die. This is why atheism and other beliefs aren't seen as being a bad thing, unless those beliefs cause a person pointless suffering that could be fixed just by learning about my religion. It's for this reason that making my religion known has value, so people have the option to pick it.

So just how exactly is my religion cult-like?
