I believe consciousness is fundamental. My argument isn't neccessarily supernatural. It's philosophy of mind to be specific

Thoughts and consciousness are physical processes though.

They are electrical signals engaging neuro connections throughout your brain which is definitely a “physical” thing.

It’s like saying files that you create and then save on a computer aren’t physical, they are, it’s just electric signals stimulating data storage.

I don’t think a theist would consider themselves a god or an eternal beacon of the universe for saving a file on a hard drive, and they would probably be just as able to explain what is happening there as they would with the physical process of thought.

Your brain does the same thing, connecting stored data in your neural tissue via electrical signals to create “thought”
