Do you believe finding someone's skin colour/race attractive is racist? Reddit seems to defend finding someone attractive because of their race as a "preference".

I want you to consider what you are saying as well. Am I truly more likely to objectify Asian people? Is it no longer a "different" race that's taboo, but simply a particular race? What if it's more than one at the same time?

Who, in your eyes, is pure, and who's not? Think carefully before you answer.

I thought people understood the neuroscience behind racial prejudice? That it is programmed into you through society, and the difference between "good" and "bad" people is not that one is free of prejudice. It is that the "good" person catches theirself having a bad thought and does their best to counter it.

What, in this case, is the bad thought? What do you want people to do to counter it? Can a person not be completely aware of what racial stereotypes are and how harmful they can be, and still find particular skin colours / facial features attractive? Do you want them to literally pluck out their own eyes to avoid having wrong feelings?

Likewise, I thought we all knew that rape is about power, not sexual attraction. Shall we go back to blaming women for dressing "sluttily" when they go out? Can men just not help themselves? Could my mom? Could my brother? Was I simply too attractive?

How many mixed-race couples would you like to break up? What test would you use to determine whether or not they should? Who gets to administer it? What do you propose people who have those feelings do, if not that?
