Why do YOU believe Jesus is the Messiah and who He says He is?

You're kidding right? There are countless more explanations that are far more reasonable. Delusion, indoctrination, false beliefs, etc. Those are all far more reasonable than someone coming back to life. Someone else made a point here about people willingly dying for false beliefs. It happens all the time. People get brainwashed by these fairy tales and then are willing to do all kinds of crazy things in the name of their god/messiah. That's really the reasonable explanation. I have no doubt that you won't accept that and will still think that some guy was born of a virgin birth (I've always thought that was a pretty funny story. More likely/rational that Mary had an affair and made up the virgin birth to not get busted by Joseph), turned water to wine, healed the sick, fed scores of people with only a few pieces of bread and fish, was killed then came back to life which then convinced others to get themselves killed. But you're right, resurrection from the dead is the reasonable explanation. Good grief.
