Why I believe the Knicks should trade for Chris Paul, there are literally zero negatives to this move even though it might get killed by media/fans

Kyle Kuzma was a 27th pick. I'm just saying there is value in the 20s sometimes, especially of you have faith in this brain trust of Perry/Mills.

And by taking Paul (admittedly horrible contract but that's why you can get these picks) you do make the team better the next 2 years. He's old but not ancient. He was still the No. 2 player on Houston team that won a lot and he looked good in playoffs averaged 17 ppg and 6 assists despite Harden ball hogging.

The real question is who does Paul block them from getting? This team is a young core that will take 3 years to develop. By that time Paul is gone and you've got those picks and now can sign FA.
