It would be hard to have strangers speculating about your relationship but plenty of couples from this show have dealt with far more intense public pressure and fans eagerly looking for the slightest signs of trouble in paradise. Jojo/Jordan, Rachel/Bryan, Lauren/Arie, Des/Chris to name a few and no one will ever come close to matching the amount of negativity and tabloid harassment that Jason and Molly endured. Yet all these couples found a way to work through it. I'm not sure if this is what you were trying to say but if Nayte and Michelle were pushed to breakup because of online speculation, then it wasn't a relationship that would have gone the distance in any case.
