‘We believe in science.’ Washington, Oregon and Nevada join California’s vaccine-review plan.

I think a reasonable scientist would say that some questions can not be answered by science. If God i undetectable, then she/he is both impossible to prove or disprove in a scientific framework. Science can't say God doesn't exist or that he does in general. Science can address specific instances where it is claimed that "God was punishing someone" or "God healed someone" by providing a framework to evaluate what happened in someone's healing or disease. Science can't disprove that some higher being created the universe exactly to cause this person to be healed by a particular strategy developed by a scientist. Science can look at the validity of the treatment strategy used and provide an explanation of what occurred if someone got better. Science can also provide explanations for phenomenon which can be seen by some as challenging religion when religion provides a different explanation for what occurred.
