Bell ordered to pay sick employee $120,000 for 'recklessly' firing him

K, I'd yell at CBC for their lack of facts in this report, so I'mma yell at NatPo.

When did he start his job at Bell? It's important to know his seniority level to understand Bell's motivations to fire him "with cause." Why didn't they just lay him off with a generous severance and side step a lawsuit?

Before anyone replies to the questions above, I'm not asking for answers to these questions (well I sort of am), I am asking why NatPo specifically didn't answer these questions.

As I said, I've made comments on this subreddit pointing out how CBC neglects these facts too and have gotten some high upvotes for it. I'm going to judge the response to this comment as a barometer as to whether my upvotes for the CBC threads were due to agreement that facts are important, or simply whether criticizing CBC garners unthinking upvotes.
