Ben Weyts wil volgende week zelf met datum voor heropening van scholen komen

u/Queefconnsaisseur was the first one to bring up the word fascist in this entire topic tho.

Sure, he linked to the wikipedia page of fascism but Eco's theory also includes stuff that non-fascists used:

"Disagreement Is Treason" – Fascism devalues intellectual discourse and critical reasoning as barriers to action, as well as out of fear that such analysis will expose the contradictions embodied in a syncretistic faith.

This is something that can apply to the USSR too. They implemented political correctness to destroy factionalism. And I wouldn't call the USSR fascist.

"Appeal to a Frustrated Middle Class", fearing economic pressure from the demands and aspirations of lower social groups.

Groen appeals to a middle class that is frustrated by the lack of action on climate change which often clashes with worker class interests, look at LEZ cities. OpenVLD is appealing to middle class entrepreneurs who believe Belgium is too restrictive because of taxes for welfare.
