Bercow says he won't allow repeat vote on same Brexit deal motion just because support for it has increased

Just revoke it, and get us out of this mess. Brexiters can try again one day, if they get a plan. We tried, we failed. Let's move on.

This referendum is taking place just because of a political manouvere of the prime minister David Cameron. So as to placate critics in his own party, and to head off the then perceived threat of the United Kingdom Independence Party, he devised the clever wheeze of promising this referendum. It must have seemed a good idea at the time.
