Bereaved Covid families boo ministers at PM’s dinner as ‘partygate’ fines issued

I hear you, but this opinion simply isn't always relevant.

Whether or not you agree with the restrictions, they were in place.

People died alone and were impacted by compromised levels of care because they had to follow restrictions. Keep in mind this wasn't always personal choice either, the rules in care homes changed. The rules in hospitals changed. A dying person couldn't just say "fuck you" to restrictions and suddenly get their way.

All the while, the politicians that brought in these rules weren't even following them themselves.

Of course people are pissed off by this. For someone so anti-lockdown I'm struggling to understand why you're willing to give them a pass for this. Refusing to follow guidelines simply wasn't an option for some people. It wasn't about just refusing to wear a mask at their local Tesco, it directly affected their systemic care. You're not thinking about the larger picture at all.
