Bernard Arnault has made an offer of €975m for the purchase of AC Milan. Elliott to give his answer in the upcoming months.

And Liverpool have won very little in the last 30 years, do you think that trophies won 50 years ago weigh as much as the last two decades?

Look dude, we're not gonna agree on here because you want to be pedantic. The fact is that United has more trophies at the moment. Whether some of them are Mickey Mouse cups or not is not relevant. Chelsea has been more successful in Europa than Arsenal yet Arsenal a way more prestigious than Chelsea. However Chelsea's won more titles in the last 2 decades than Arsenal did, so you can see it's not as a black and white to just say "X has more important trophies than Y".

You're suffering from a nasty case of recency bias. 2 years ago you wouldn't have said any of this, but because Liverpool won the CL last season and are going to win the PL this season somehow Liverpool is suddenly much more succesful despite winning very little trophies compared to United's huge trophy haul in the last 2 decades?
