I've reached peak cynicism here. I've volunteered on campaigns since I was a kid going door to door in 84 with my parents. The situation doesn't get better, Americans don't care and my work and donations are worthless in the broader picture. I honestly think the only difference between the candidates left are whether they'll screw you quickly and publicly or slowly and behind closed doors. Either way we're screwed. I'm done. Out. I'm updating my registration to leave the Democratic party and leaving my county central committee. I won't vote for a rapist and in this election it's looking like that means I won't be casting a ballot for President in November (I'll still vote in local races).
