Yep, the GISS numbers indicate higher temperatures now, and an increasing rate of warming. The GISS numbers have been adjusted so much that the adjustment rate is as high or higher than the resulting warming rate. Man made warming indeed.

I don't trust the GISS numbers. I believe in Science, because science is a process. I also know that sometimes, scientists fall victim to confirmation bias, just like everyone else. Sometimes, scientists who are also advocates for a certain outcome might be guilty of erring on the side of exaggerating their own results to help achieve those outcomes.

Fifteen years ago, if you'd have asked all of those Ph.D. level climate scientists how accurate their temperature readings are, they'd have told you that the numbers were within a couple of hundredths of a degree, and anyone who questioned that is an idiot. The math was clear and compelling. Since then, they've adjusted those numbers by twenty or thirty times that amount. They've cooled the 1930s drastically, and warmed the recent temperatures drastically. We went from reporting a 0.55º anomaly to reporting a 1º anomaly for the same time periods.

The warming you're reporting is all do to adjustments, and not due to actual change in the thermometer readings. Believe it if you want.
