Bernie Sanders dismisses Kamala Harris' and Elizabeth Warren's calls for slavery reparations

Reparations for what our society has taken for it's property rights need to be forward looking, and universal, regardless of race or background. What we need is a recognition that God gave us this planet; and that if our Society is going to take it away, leaving people without land to sow & work due to property "rights", then it should compensate each and every person for what is the takings. This would be a land-value tax used to pay a gaurenteed-baseline sustenance -- enough to cloth, shelter and sleep, get medical attention, education and nutritional needs. As a guidline such a payment could be what it'd cost to incarcerate someone. As an advantage, when someone fails to behave in society, you have something to take away besides their freedom... Having a gaurentteed-baseline would have enormous positive impacts on society. Imagine only the kensian stimulus, since lots of people could now afford to rent in a (tiny) apartment -or- if they want, live in a housing cooperative with other individuals together in a community. I've got no doubt that with a very meager basic sustenance, most will be more than enthusiastically work to have much more than that...
