Bernie Sanders, Loud and Clear: "...[H]e is now making the case for progressive policies in a manner that the United States hasn’t seen in decades."

Because most of what he has said isn't economically feasible. When his specifics are released people will realize how silly his economic ideology is.

I mean he questioned on Twitter why student loans interest rates were higher than mortgage rates for fucks sake. Seriously? That's basic economics, and it demonstrates a complete lack of economic knowledge while perpetuating this belief that everything should be "equal" in life. Life is inherently unequal. Want to know what equal is like? Look at Venezuela. I am from South America and have family friends who are from there who know what it's like to live in a society where everyone gets an equal amount of this and that. It fucking sucks. Waiting in line for hours to get bread only to find out they've run out when they get to the front. Sure, Bernie Sanders isn't advocating for complete socialism, but it's a step in the wrong direction. I know I will likely be downvoted for this, but if people just think about the economics of his ideas, they would realize they are not feasible, and will end up bankrupting this country while also reducing our general prosperity.

Look at the UN's own projections - they are projecting that Sweden (a near perfect society to socialists) will have a lower HDI (Human Development Index) than Libya by 2030. Sweden's HDI is projected to fall every year until 2030 (the farthest the projections were calculated), and by 2030, Sweden (now considered a model society by many), won't even be in the top 40 in HDI. Why? Socialism is suffocating. I know it's not what many on reddit want to hear, but it's true. Socialism does not work.

Winston Churchill was an imperfect man, but he was correct when he said: "The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries."
