Bernie Sanders Pledges To Do A Better Job Of Explaining Socialism

NPR with the hit job

The interview starts with

"you have candidates who sound a lot like Bernie Sanders, so why do you need to run"

then moves on to a bunch of leading questions that attempt to frame his message

"there are a lot of people in the democratic party who are anxious to see someone who quite frankly is not an older white man, they are clamoring for a more diverse candidate because that is the person who can more authentically reflect their priorities"

moves on to reparations

"... reparations for slavery, ... currently white families in this country hold 20 times the wealth as black families do, would you support reparations plan designed to specifically address this gap?

didn't like his answer about dealing with the economic inequality issues so they double down with strong language

"...is there something special and unique and exceptional that needs to happen to right the sin of slavery"

then they frame healthcare as a scary big government power grab

"democrats who think about the idea of a single payer healthcare system, ..., who say this is big government in my life, ..., the idea of a government funded single payer system is off-putting?"

they end the interview with

"the Sanders Institute, a think tank tied to the Sanders family, is closing down after criticisms of impropriety with his family and his business
