Bernie Sanders speaks at campaign rally for Randy Bryce

In 2016 I won election to my local democratic party, giving me a voice on local issues and a vote for my state and national delegates. Since then, and since I've saw all that divisiveness on reddit, I've spent my time encouraging other progressives to join the party and try to actually change things. I reached out to indivisible, to our revolution, to DSA, etc. There are many things I think we'd agree on--superdelegates, ballot reform, etc.

So far a whopping one person has shown up. The party meetings are still full of old people.

So pardon me for not giving a shit anymore about divisive reddit complaints about the DNC. It's coming from a group of people more interesting in virtue signaling and complaining than putting in the work to actually change the party.
