I see this argument a lot, but it makes no sense to me. Likewise, if rapists want to rape..., if molesters want to molest..., if ax murderers want to ax...

We are never going to get rid of all crime but that hardly means there's no point in trying to reduce crime or make crimes more difficult for criminals to commit.

That was my original post. I did not take a poition on gun control one way or another. All I said - VERY CLEARLY - was that the guy's argument was nonsensical. If it was anti-gun, it would be just as nonsensical a position.

He then demanded I provide sources to back up "my position" on gun control, when as I said I never took any position other than that his logic was poor. I very clearly took no position and have repeatedly asked people to show where I explicitly took a position in this thread on guns - AND NO ONE HAS RISEN TO THE CHALLENGE.

I called out the original poster for changing the subject, and was subsequently called a "fucking retard"' yet I'm the one who is "name calling".

Again, please show me where on this thread I explicitly took a position on guns, one way or another. And calling someone on their nonsensical argument hardly counts.

I'm not going to post any link supporting "my position" on guns because -as I've stated repeatedly - I haven't taken a position on guns in this thread, I have taken no position that needs supporting.

Lastly, I don't apologize for calling people out for being cowardly and dishonest for the very simple reason that they behaved in those exact ways. If I wrongly accuse someone of something and am called on it, I'll generally apologize. These people are simply cowardly and lacking in any sort of integrity, so fuck 'em.
