Why all of them? Why you?

If you can be convinced to believe something based on faith and not reason, you are dangerous and unpredictable in a modern society based on logic and law. You can be made to believe anything if you suspend rational thought.

Christians in America have shown time and time again that they are willing to disregard science and logic and trample truth in a quest for religious supremacy. Just like most major world religions would do if given the chance.

One glaring example. Many Christian apologists and progressive Christians enable the rest of Christian extremists by falsely claiming the Bible is not homophobic.

The Bible is consistent through both Old and New Testaments in confirming that homosexuality is sin (Genesis 19:1–13; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Timothy 1:10; Jude 1:7). Here is the King James showing it is categorically homophobic in seven separate verses. Anyone defending these verses or warping them to fit your own definitions has ignored some serious cognitive dissonance and you know it, deep down. Stop lying to yourself.

All evidence here so far would suggest that if you're not homophobic, you're not a real Christian. Why would God's own word, in the original Hebrew, be violable, subject to debate and change? It seems you must first develop an abhorrent, ironclad view of human rights in order to be a real Christian. Perhaps you, then, are not a real Christian. Perhaps you are.

3 weeks ago, a Texas pastor said, in a church, to wide applause, that every single gay person in America without exception should be shot in the back of the head.

Oh, what's that? These aren't ”True Christians™”? They're not like you and they don't represent your ideas? Well, dear reader, I deeply regret to inform you that they are indeed every bit as Christian as you- in fact, they're probably doing a better job of being Christian than you are yourself!

Regular Christians. Not extremists. Not Nat-Cs. Just families, grandmas and kids clapping along.

Today, women will die in the false name of Christianity, as so many other groups have for two thousand years. If you disagree - I sincerely hope that your loved ones never experience an ectopic pregnancy, lest you experience firsthand a glimpse of the hell you have wrought upon this country.
