LOL! No one is going to pay off the national debt America will default before that happens and something like bitcoin or the Yuen will take over. That is how a fiat currency works. Wouldn’t it have been nice not to have to join the army to get a education? Or not to have had your family go through that? If only the rich in our society where strong enough to uplift others rather than look down on them maybe you and your family wouldn’t have had to go through all of that. Also if you have enough wealth to own your dads house and your own house I assume shouldn’t you help him more? Or maybe you should just sell the house to him and then have him get a reverse mortgage then you can worry about it later. Also believing in the poor the way you describe is like believing a man with a 1000lbs of weight tied around his neck can swim to the surface from the bottom of the ocean before drowning. Investing to grow wealth and build the economy is not wrong limit capitalism is the way to go, but unlimited growth is unsustainable. Capitalism needs limits. Also most socialist states aren’t socialist they usually end up more of a oligarchy or authoritarian state due to corruption. Just like our representative democracy is now more of a oligarchy due to corruption. No system has solved that problem. People like Bezos have lived long enough to see them selves become the villain. Is there no point at which people say that is enough money for me maybe I should do something for others? And gates sits on his money with people like Epstein. Gates doesn’t care about anything but making himself feel good. I am sure too Bezos doesn’t think twice about what he puts his workers through to be that rich. All he thinks about is the next thing that will make him feel accomplished or satisfied. My problem with Uber rich is the greed these people have no limit and will sacrifice what ever they have to because fuck it they only live maybe 80 or so years everyone else can figure it after I’m gone. Then what happens when Bezos is gone who gets the money nobody who does did much of anything to earn it like Bezos did but they will hold more influence and power then most anyone who lives. If more of Bezos profits where spend on improving workers lives Bezos would still be fine and everyone else would be better off. Maybe he would also have a more engaged and higher quality work force.
