Bernie wanted to kill the International Space Station and Large Hadron Collider projects. Video proof

Very truthfully, if this stuff was substantial, yes. S4P is not friendly to anti-science. I'm a Sanders supporter, but I read his older views differently than some are seeing them here. Tell me what you think.

So, back in the day, the things he was talking about (psychological impact and cancer) were all being studied. In fact, there is a lot of research out there now that links chronic stress to cancer. More needs to be done, but this is not radical to me, nor is his interest in trying to explore other forms of medicine. His constituents in Vermont are big on that kind of thing as well, so I feel as though his views are reflected in his people. Now, that would worry me a lot more if he was touting it over verified medicine. Instead, he's more about exploring any benefits that alternative medicine could produce, rather than making it the mainstream way to cure your ailments. I don't take issue there, and I think that's the reverse of anti-science---we should study things we think might help with ailments for their benefits.

That said, I'm not fond of hearing that he doesn't want to increase funding for NASA. I personally value space exploration greatly. I think it's important for humanity. As a Sanders supporter, I think I see where he's coming from, though I don't think we have to sacrifice one for the other. I feel like he believes that homelessness in the US and hungry children should be a priority.

Thirdly, I'm also not sure about his moratorium on power plant renewals. I'm gathering that he thinks we can invest in cleaner forms of energy production instead, but I'm not sure I understand fully how that would play out. Would it take place right away? Would he phase it in? I think it can be phased in. Nuclear energy is probably the least of our worries. When things go bad, they go very bad, but if they're maintained properly, they seem fine. The same argument can be made for oil refineries and off-shore drilling, though.

Not all of us are overzealous and unreasonable. I think a lot of people over at S4P (certainly not the loudest trolls) but many people there, want to know when they are missing something or need to be corrected. I think you could also say the same for Hillary supporters over here---You and I both know that there are bad people on both sides of this race. I'm kind of fervently anti-Hillary, but I keep it on that subreddit. When I'm here, I try to be respectful.
