Besides the memes, why are you really using Arch

In my experience with pretty much any software - I've found point releases to be far more likely to break, and far more likely to break irreparably. So not only does Arch allow me to use the latest software, I'm far more confident that it will keep working than I have been on any other distro - even Debian.

I've been using Arch now near exclusively for about three years and despite what the memes will tell you, I haven't had anything break that wasn't directly caused by my own bad decisions. But even if a package does break, I'm confident that it will be fixed in a couple of days (and I could downgrade in the meantime), whereas with a point release, I'd be SOL and just have to wait for the next one.
