Best will always be up for debate. Like a top 5 emcee list, everyone will have a completely different approach to the idea. Mine goes like this, In no particular order. Please try them all. They are all worth a taste.

Azatlan by the Maltese has a Pastor that is traditional. I’m talking pork cooked with pineapple. It’s fantastic as a burrito or chimichanga. (Try both)

Aca Taco is the standard burrito in town. Anyone who grew up around downtown with the open lunches during high school will know what I’m talking about. Great churros.

Gordo burrito is next. They have breakfast burritos that are cheap and delicious. The salsa with the breakfast burritos is my favorite. Tangy. They are a solid establishment whether you go to the truck or the gas station location.

Tacos Mary will give you a Burrito Baby. They are gigantic and very wet. There’s nothing I hate more than a dry ass burrito and they understand how I feel. Slurps of mess for days almost falling apart in your hands. How do I eat this!?! Style. The Nachos are what’s up, also the chimi.

There is a taco truck on Second St down by the Burger King. It’s my childhood favorite. For years they had a 4$ burrito. The couple that own and operate it are the best. I don’t go there very much anymore because my body can’t handle too many burritos anymore. But when I go there, the couple always remembers me. Even with the mask on nowadays. She always remembers to give me a pile of spicy carrots. My favorite.
