I’ve lived all over the world and I judge a countries cuisine based off of what average people will serve at their homes for a large party. Since moving to the states, most events I’ve attended it’s hamburgers and hot dogs that are offered and it’s pretty exclusive to the US. Potato salad and whatever else can be thrown on the grill and that’s a traditional American meal offered at get together. Go to an American diner, it’s burgers, chicken tenders and fries and sandwiches being served and maybe some country fried steak. If that isn’t typical food in the US then you’re right, I’m lost and don’t know what I’m doing commenting here.
