Best fighter subclass for a ranged weapon user?

Personally I like bonus action throwing more than I want sharpshooter damage to apply to thrown melee weapons.

As a side note- for something RAW but definitely not RAI- we all like to imagine the two weapon fighting rules saying “if you are holding a light weapon in both hands when you take the attack action, you can make an attack with the off hand weapon as a bonus action” but it doesn’t say that. It says “if you take the attack action using a light weapon you may use a bonus action to attack with a light weapon in your other hand”

The key difference there is unlike how I remember it, you aren’t obliged to be holding two weapons, just to use different hands to attack.

Technically, Shuffles the beggar, shy and retiring lookout for the thieves guild, can stab you with his knife, object interaction the knife from his right hand to his left, and then stab you again as a bonus action. Now this is so blatantly against RAI that no same DM should allow it, but at a strict RAW table it could be good to remember, as it means Dual Wielder would let you BA throw the Dwarven Thrower.
