Best GM’s in the League

No, I'll give him credit, but you originally attacked my comment saying I'd prefer Hunter. And based on their resumes when the job was up for grabs, I stand by it. I'm stoked to see the Leafs as good as they are now. And Dubas has made some moves that you've gotta give him credit for. It's impossible to tell if Hunter could have landed JT (or even went in on him, for that matter), but given that JT turned down better offers to play in Toronto, I think Hunter (with previous rapport from the Knights) could've made it work. I wasn't a fan of the Kadri trade. And I'll stick by my guns on that one as Naz was my favourite on the team. Dubas has made the most of a limited budget by signing depth guys to great value deals, but he would have more wiggle room if he got a better deal on Mitch. All that said, I'm all for guys getting paid what they're worth. The Pasta/MacKinnon deals are a bit of an anomaly, and I hate that they get compared to elite salaries like Marner's. I really think the Leafs have a shot to go all the way this year. GLG.
