Or buy something cheap but Deco X60 or Deco X68 is a good choice. Absolutely no benefit getting a $1,000 wifi mesh system over a cheap mesh. They are limited to 400 mbps on AC & 650 mbps as well as the type of AC or AX chip used on wireless gadget. I saw a review of Amplifi Alien AX router yesterday showing speed test results on different mobile devices. Seems to be what I mostly get on AX or even better on my Deco X20. I'm not going to say that Amplifi Alien in no good in terms of speed. Its speed test results (600+ mbps) seem to be in line with what I get on any given day/on any type of network congestion. I got higher results at time (791 mbps) but its not something I can or closely get any time of the day. Amplifi Alien I think sucks because of the price. What you get on those supper expensive mesh systems is wider wifi coverage. It will not improve your wireless speed past the said limit.
