Don’t know if it’s a rooted problem but the Dublin Honda dealership but they tried to rub on over on me.

My car was due for a recall power steering hose and when they do the work they do an “all around inspection”

My issue is that after they took 6 hours for one hose they proceeded to make a suggested high priority change list. My brakes were on that list along with a new power steering pump. These fixes were 1200 some change.

What they didn’t know about me even though I arrived in pajamas, flip flops, and a tee is that i had replaced the exact pump he was talking about 5 months earlier and had been monitoring its fluid levels daily. Even better I did all new calipers and pads a year earlier. After informing him of that he instantly signed off on the work and pushed me out he door before I could garner the confidence to do something about it.

To sum up, the pump from Napa was 80.00 after giving them the old one and the repair took me 2 hours with a six pack and sockets. Pretty messed up to assume they’d done the same to someone who didn’t know and that person would be out 800 bucks or so.
