Best Kayaking Spots in SD

Hey! So I actually kayaked with the company Everyday California on a 90 minute guided tour for $30 through Groupon. I really liked it because they told us a lot of the history around the area and cool facts that I wouldn't have known. Additionally, they take you in the sea cave near La Jolla Cove that is hard to go into if you're not an experienced kayaker. However I wouldn't do another tour again now that I know the history, and think it would be a lot more fun to explore the area on your own. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy near La Jolla Cove, in terms of other kayaking groups, stand up paddle boarders, and people snorkeling. However it was no issue kayaking around and exploring. Some areas are more known for leopard sharks, even though I didn't see any. We did see a lot of this gold fish looking fish, but besides that we couldn't see the sea life unless we dove in. Overall, it's a beautiful area to kayak and explore, however I don't think there is all that much going on if you're looking for epic caves or something. But if you're just looking for beautiful scenery I would definitely check out La Jolla Cove! It's awesome because they have a little beach and everyone is swimming and hanging out in that area, so it'd be fun to kayak there plus hang out kinda a thing. Rambling now, but yeah! Let me know if you have any specific questions.
